Mark Wilson began his relationship to the camera in his teenage years. Testing lighting techniques on willing friends and family utilizing everything from flashlights to slide projectors, these early images laid the groundwork for assignments he would later undertake for such varied clients as Inc. Magazine, Fast Company, Fortune Small Business, Downbeat and others. Displaying an instinctive ability to find the common human elements among his varied subjects, Mark continues to hone his craft via self-assigned photographic projects as well as through commisioned assignments for magazines, design firms and various institutions. A continued interest in editorial portraiture and travel photography are central to his career.
